The club enjoyed another good summer of tournament matches in 2012. The entry for mens singles broke through the 32 barrier for the first time, and the mixed tournament was a tighter affair than some years due to more stronger players entering.
With growing numbers of juniors the boys' tournament was able to be
played for the first time in thirteen years with Sachin and Tom
producing a marathon match! Roger Marris announced his arrival at the
club with good wins in the men's singles and doubles and Alex Wingent
cemented his return to the club by wining the mixed with Kathryn
Schutterlin. No matches at all were played in the Ladies' singles
draw.
