Family Doubles is a separate fun tournament for a parent plus their (under 14) son or daughter. It was played as a round-robin tournament at 10am on Saturday 18th August. This year we had five pairs entered. We began the tournament playing short sets, but the first round took so long that we changed to match tie-breaks. There were lots of close games, but at the half way stage the Strainge and the Nulliah family teams were joint leaders. The head-to-head between these two teams was won by the Nulliah family, and they went through to be the undefeated winners, and the Strainge team were second with only one dropped match.
